The Father Adrien Arsenault Senior Arts Awards were established in honour of Father Adrien Arsenault, an artist, a staunch advocate and supporter of the arts, and arts educator. The Senior Arts Award is awarded bi-annually to an artist determined by a jury of peers from the community to have excelled in their field, advanced the arts on Prince Edward Island and is recognized Island-wide as a senior artist in their medium or discipline.
The Father Adrien Arsenault Senior Arts Award Endowment Fund makes this award financially possible.

The Island Literary Awards are awarded annually to Prince Edward Island's writers. Awards are made to all levels of the discipline from students, through senior members of the writing community.
The awards ceremonies are held each spring, and are an important milestone in the careers of Island authors, young and old. Working closely with Island schools, the awards encourage writing from Island children and youth.
Awards and Prizes include the Lucy Maud Montgomery prize and are supported by the Lucy Maud Montgomery Fund managed by the Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts combined with strong support from the Corporate community.
